Areas of ministry service include:

Sanctuary Choir: Ages 18+ singing all genres including traditional gospel, anthems, hymns, spirituals, and contemporary
Mighty Men of Valor: Comprised of men 18+ singing all genres of Christian music
Voices of Faith: comprised of ages 40+ focusing primarily on the traditional gospel, hymns, and anthems
Fusion Choir: Ages 18-40 focusing on contemporary gospel and Christian Contemporary Music (CCM)
Women’s Choir: Ages 18+ singing all genres of Christian music
Praise in Motion: “Dance Team”: Ages 18+ performing various styles of dance (liturgical, African, contemporary, and more)
Dance Team: Ages 4 and up performing various styles of dance (liturgical, African, contemporary, and more)
Angel Kisses: Ages 4-15
Praise in Motion: Ages 15+

Congratulations To Min. Melodi Lovely!

St. James Alpharetta’s very own Min. Melodi Lovely was chosen to present and sing at the 2024 Gospel Music Workshop of America (GMWA) Nat’s Conference last week in Memphis, TN! This prestigious event brings together gospel singers and musicians, along with ministers, educators, business professionals, and University-College-Seminary academic partnerships.

With a mission to preserve the heritage of Gospel music in America, the GMWA provides a forum for the development of excellence in its presentation. It also aims to increase opportunities for the perpetuation of Gospel music throughout various industries, arenas, and across the world. Their goals include academically preparing Gospel artists for the future, raising the level of excellence in worship experiences, and providing a platform for all forms of Gospel music to thrive.

Min. Melodi Lovely’s selection to present and sing is a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication to Gospel music. We celebrate this wonderful achievement and consider ourselves blessed to be able to witness her ministry each week as she continues to inspire and uplift through her incredible ministry.
