Beyond Revisionism: A Call to Deeper Faith and Understanding
In a world grappling with distorted narratives, how do we, as men of faith, stand for truth? How do we confront histories that seek to diminish or erase the experiences of others, particularly when "white nationalist theology" attempts to co-opt the sacred?
This May, the men of St. James embark on a transformative study of Dr. James Cone's "The Cross and The Lynching Tree." We'll explore the raw, powerful connection between faith and justice, aiming to highlight and dismantle revisionist histories that threaten our collective understanding.
Our journey begins Tuesday, May 27th, and continues weekly until June 24th. Join us at 7:00 PM in Room 201/208. This is more than a study; it's an invitation to deepen your faith, sharpen your understanding, and stand in solidarity with truth. Your voice, your presence, matters. Will you answer the call?
