DESCRIPTION:Call to action: During the month of June (June 1st – 30th)\, we will collect your gently used eyeglasses and readers or sunglasses. \nDrop-off details: Please drop off your gently used prescription eyeglasses\, reading glasses\, and sunglasses (no cases required but helpful)\, in the designated collection bin (Located in the Narthex). Contact: For questions\, email ou******@********ca.org. \n\nOn behalf of the Outreach Ministry at St. James\, we are hosting a donation drive to collect gently used eyeglasses\, readers\, and sunglasses for the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation. Georgia Lions Lighthouse served nearly 70\,000 patients (July 2024–June 2025) through screenings\, exams\, glasses\, and surgeries. \nGA Lions Lighthouse Foundation is a statewide nonprofit that provides vision screening\, eye exams\, glasses\, and eye surgeries to underinsured Georgians. The donated eyewear helps restore sight\, independence\, and quality of life for people in financial need across Georgia.

Teens of Praise (TOP) is officially inviting all middle and high school students to step up and be part of a dynamic team where you can develop your singing talents and build lasting friendships. Whether you’re a long-time church member or a friend from the community\, there is a spot for you to grow in confidence and lead the way in worship. \n  \nWe meet on Tuesdays from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM during the two weeks leading up to the fourth Sunday of each month. It’s a focused environment where we put in the work\, though family and friends are welcome to catch the highlights during the final fifteen minutes of each session. If you’re ready to give God your TOP praise\, just head over to our registration form to get started. Returning members are already set after their first sign-up\, so come ready to sing and make an impact!

DESCRIPTION:St. James is committed to addressing food insecurity within our local community through an expanded Free Food Program in partnership with the Atlanta Food Bank. We are pleased to announce the extension of our service hours\, providing essential nourishment to those in need. Please take note of the following schedule for our Free Food Program:\n \nWeekly Service Times:\n\nTuesday — Walk-up service: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM\nThursday — Walk-up service: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM\n\n\nMonthly Service Times: (Last Friday and Saturday fall in the same month)\, the Friday service remains as scheduled.\n\nLast Friday — Walk-up service: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM\nLast Saturday — Walk-up & Drive‑thru begins at 11:30 AM- 1:00 PM\n\nNOTE: If the last weekend of the month contains a holiday\, Free Food distribution will take place the prior weekend.\n\nInterest in volunteering for Free Food Giveaway?
