DESCRIPTION:St. James is committed to addressing food insecurity within our local community through an expanded Free Food Program in partnership with the Atlanta Food Bank. We are pleased to announce the extension of our service hours\, providing essential nourishment to those in need. Please take note of the following schedule for our Free Food Program: \n\nTuesday: 6:30 PM-8:30 PM – Walk-up service.\nThursday: 6:30 PM-8:30 PM – Walk-up service.\nOpen last Friday of month from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM\, (when the last Friday and last Saturday of the month both occur within the same calendar month)\n*If last weekend of the month is a holiday\, Free Food is distributed the prior weekend.\n\nAt St. James\, we are dedicated to fostering a sense of community and alleviating hunger. DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that Beauty for Ashes will be joining us at the Free Food Giveaway event on July 26\, 2025! The “Beauty for Ashes” provides care and response to those who have been impacted by homelessness or some other stage of life transition that finds them “on the street”. They will be offering free stand-up showers and grooming services for those in need. \nAlso\, leading up to the event\, Outreach Ministry will be accepting donations of travel-size toiletries to support their efforts. \nEveryone is welcome\, and these services are completely free for all. We look forward to serving our community together! \nToiletries needed (suggested items include TRAVEL SIZE: Toothpaste\, toothbrushes\, lotions\, deodorant\, shampoo\, conditioner\, shaving cream\, disposable razors). You can drop off your donations in the bin at the Chestene Carter Center for Excellence.
